¨       Assisted in the development of architectural and site standards, legal and organizational setup, and financing

Harriman Research & Technology Park, SUNY Albany

¨       Assisted management in creating strategic plans for development and management of a new research park adjacent to the University at Albany campus

¨       Advised and assisted in drafting RFQ and RFP documents for a feasibility study and preparation of a Master Plan of Development

     

 

Radford University Research Foundation

¨       Assisted in planning for development of a campus extension to include teaching, research, retail and residential components

¨       Advised on and prepared documents for Master Developer negotiations with a previously selected private developer

     

 

Town of Greenwich, Connecticut

¨       Advised on site selection and design for a new Police Headquarters facility to be paired with a new Central Fire Department and Emergency Response Facility in the downtown

¨       Conducted negotiations with a private developer on behalf of the town to acquire land and developer participation in the project

     

 

Office of General Services, State of New York

¨       Acted as developer for a new 125,000 square foot State Department of Transportation headquarters building in Schenectady, NY

¨       Negotiated a unique, leased-backed, private financing structure which resulted in a very low rent for the DOT

¨       Provided executive management of design, financing, development, permitting, and construction of the facility

     

    Private Sector Projects 

     

 

F.D. Rich Company, Stamford

¨       Managed development of a portfolio of over $750 million, consisting of 1.44 million square feet in seven office buildings, 355 hotel rooms, and 550 apartments

¨       Improved quality control and performance characteristics of new buildings, upgrading curtain walls, HVAC systems, elevators, energy management, and building communications systems

¨       Managed joint venture development of a new 925,000 sq. ft. urban, regional shopping mall with three major department store anchors and a 3800 car garage. 

     

 

Broadmoor Housing, Inc.

¨       Organized, financed, and directed all operations of a joint venture corporation with five Fortune 500 partners to develop a significant amount of market rate, multifamily housing in downtown Stamford

¨       Assembled approximately 11 acres through private purchase of 43 lots and tenement buildings

¨       Constructed and sold out the Forest Mews phase:  79 townhouses and garden apartments

     

 

Warwick Malkin, Inc., Stamford

¨       Planned and assembled a 7.2 acre site for a 990,000 square foot urban mixed-use development (office, residential, retail, entertainment, and health facilities) at the Stamford public transportation hub and railroad station

¨       Produced and obtained approvals of new design district zoning regulations to govern development in the Transportation Center area

     

 

Sterling Lake Development

¨       In Stamford, designed, developed, constructed and marketed an innovative, lakeside cluster development of single family homes in a condominium community

     

 

Sunrise Assisted Living

¨       Purchased and assisted in the planning, development and approvals for one of the first Assisted Living Facilities in the area

Yale & Towne Industrial Park, Stamford

¨       Principal development and zoning consultant for rezoning and redevelopment planning for a 22-acre functionally obsolescent industrial park in Stamford

¨       Produced both a financial feasibility model for the full redevelopment of the project and new Mixed Use Development Design District zoning. 

¨       Property received Planning & Zoning approvals for conversion to a regional mixed-use office, retail, and residential development of approximately 1.2 million square feet
