FIRM CAPABILITIES
The firm is employed in and
focuses primarily on situations where institutional or governmental principals
need to attract outside resources to provide organizational skills and
management, financial backing, and in some situations, alternative approaches to
getting things done. This suggests attracting and fashioning
appropriate relationships and deals with various types of private companies.
Since the principals in these new relationships may not be familiar with the
institutional or business language of their prospective partners and vice versa,
it may be necessary to provide a better understanding by the institutional sponsors
as to certain requirements and attitudes in doing business with commercial
entities or sources of financing. At the same time it is often necessary to
educate the private sector principals as to what is necessary and appropriate
for the institutional participants.
